Here is what the program will look like :

Most of our participants enroll in both sessions through this bundle option, so the groups will be similar in composition.

During weekly group sessions, we will cover one topic related to operational best practices for nonprofits as we work through the concepts of both the HEART and HEAD sessions.

You will also receive one individual session per week, available to be scheduled at your convenience as either a virtual meeting or phone call. We have a recommended reading list, digital resources that will be shared with you as they pertain to the weekly topics, and templates to help design your own organizing documents.

Additionally, you will be able to submit up to 6 operationally-related documents to our team for review and revision (3 per session, relative to the coaching program content. A list of options is provided at the time of registration).

There is also optional continued engagement with your group and other nonprofit leaders through our Alumni program so that you always have a trusted place to turn for advice and guidance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who will benefit from the program?

The Heart and Head Executive Coaching Program is designed for nonprofit organization founders in the early stages of development or those new to executive leadership roles in small to medium-sized nonprofit organizations.

What is the flow of the program?

We will start with HEART on June 20th, 2022. Each week for the following 8 weeks, we will meet virtually as a group each week (as individuals' schedules permit) for one hour to review the weekly topic. We will also schedule a weekly individual call or virtual meeting for up to 30 mins to work on your organization specifically, at your convenience. Each week has a topic and supplemental materials/activities so that tangible accomplishments can be obtained and through this program, we are actively working to achieve your development goals. The HEART sessions conclude on 8/12/22. After a one-week break, the HEAD sessions begin on 8/22/22 with the same schedule and conclude on 9/30/22.

Do I have to sign up for both sessions?

No, you may choose to sign up for only one of the sessions, although a discount is given if you register to attend both.

What is included?

By registering for HEART, you will be a part of an exclusive group of individuals that can identify with and relate to your experiences. We will cover one topic related to developmental best practices for nonprofits during weekly group sessions. You will also receive one individual session per week, available to be scheduled at your convenience as either a virtual meeting or phone call. We have a recommended reading list, digital resources that will be shared with you as they pertain to the weekly topics, and templates to help design your own organizing documents. Additionally, you will be able to submit up to 3 development-related documents to our team for review and revision (a list of options is provided at the time of registration).

The flow continues as the HEAD program begins. You will also receive one individual session per week, available to be scheduled at your convenience as either a virtual meeting or phone call. At the conclusion of both programs, you will receive a Certificate of Completion and documented CEUs (continuing education credits) for up to 12 hours (varies based on session attended). We also encourage everyone to stay connected via our Facebook group, where we will continue to share resources and best practices as our alumni group grows!

What should I expect?

The HEART and HEAD Executive Coaching Program is thoughtfully designed as a small group, intimate, and affordable option for nonprofit leaders to get the support they need and be able to ask questions, think through processes, develop usable tools, and share lessons learned with each other. It is facilitated by Jodi Riley, a Certified Grant Writer and Nonprofit Development Consultant with over 15 years in the field.

Previously, we have only offered consulting services on an individualized 6-month contracted basis and at a significantly higher cost. By opening an opportunity for a small group and sharing templates that can be worked through by participants, we can make this information more accessible to all.

You should expect to meet and form a bond with colleagues that are in a similar situation as yourself and who share the same goals and aspirations. You should expect to gain useful, applicable tools and information. You should expect to feel empowered and confident as you learn how to navigate the nonprofit sector. You should expect to make great strides in the development and operation of your organization.

What if I have to miss a part of the program?

This executive coaching program is designed to empower you and meet your needs. You will not be penalized for missing a session, or not completing a goal. We will work with you to make this work for you. If you have to miss a session, that information will be shared with you via email and reviewed during your next individual session.

What is the cost?

The regular total enrollment price for H.E.A.R.T. is $1000.00. The regular total enrollment cost of H.E.A.D. is $750.00. There is a payment plan option available for one or both programs.

The regular total price for enrollment in both programs is $1,750.00. If you register for both HEART and HEAD at the same time, you will receive a $100 discount, bringing the total program cost to $1,650.00. Payment plans are available, just select this option at checkout.

What if I need to cancel after I enroll?

If you cancel by June 1st, 2022, full payment will be refunded to you and someone from the waiting list will be offered your space. We cannot refund cancellations after June 1st, but will happily offer you a space in the next scheduled program cohort.

Is there unlimited space for enrollment?

Because we want to retain the quality and intimacy of the group, enrollment per cohort is capped at 8 participants. Anyone wishing to enroll after the maximum has been met will be placed on a waiting list for the next cohort, scheduled to begin in early 2023.
